Fundamentally, there are 2 parts.

part1@tcc:~$ Personal and sensitive information has been, and increasingly continues to be under attack. Stolen information can have profound impacts on individuals affected by the theft, monetary impacts to businesses (small or those publicly traded), and devastating impacts to critical infrastructure that we rely on every day.

My humble beginnings are in engineering, and I am seeking a career pivot into cybersecurity to leverage that knowledge. Allow me to share my career transition journey as I join the fight to keep sensitive information safeguarded.

part2@tcc:~$ Looking back to when I recently started this journey, I wish I had a fraction of what I know now. Expanding that thought, if I had this insight a year ago, it is fun to imagine how differently the career trajectory could have been leading back to present day. I hope my experiences will help others by shortening the time it takes to reach the cybersecurity destination.
